    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • oatmeal
    • blueberries
    • milk
    • sweetener
    • microwave
      • 1

First of all, commit to eating in a healthy manner. Once you do, you'll find that there are so many healthy foods that taste so much better than what you were eating before.

Go on a shopping trip. Buy a huge bag of blueberries (I like the wild ones the best) and a large container of oatmeal. Steel cut oatmeal will not work in this case, because it does not cook well in the microwave. Just get the regular kind, not instant.

      • 3

Put 1/3 cup of oatmeal in a cereal bowl. Add an equal amount of blueberries and 2/3 cup water. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. Be careful when you take it out, because it will be very hot.

      • 4

Add the sweetener of your choice and top with regular or soy milk. Enjoy eating a delicious healthy dish that has very few calories, but tons of fiber and antioxidants!

Replace one meal a day with this recipe. You will save lots of calories while eating healthfully. This recipe fills you up so that you don't have hunger pangs!

    Tips & Warnings

    • You can grind up two tablespoons of flax seed and mix it in the oatmeal AFTER you cook it for more fiber and a bunch of Omega 3's. Ground flax seed has about 35 calories a tablespoon, and is very filling.

    • Make sure the bowl you use is big enough. The ingredients should fill no more than half the bowl.
