Make Delicious Homemade Pizza

If you are tired of always eating either frozen pizzas that are just popped into the over, or you are sick of delivery, this is the pizza for you. You can make it vegetarian, put meat on it, the options are all there to make this the most delicious pizza ever.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pre-formed Pizza Dough
  • Tomatoes
  • Tomato Paste
  • Peppers
  • Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Broccoli
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Feta Cheese
  • Munster Cheese
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Black Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Marjoram
  • Bay Leef
  1. Step 1

Preheat your over to 425 degrees.

  2. Step 2

First you are going to prepare your pizza sauce. To do this you are going to take your tomatoes and start dicing. If you like thicker sauce, leave some big tomato chunks. If you like it think, make sure you discard all of those big pieces. Once you cut up the tomato pieces, you should take those pieces, and combine them with 1-2 cans of tomato paste in a sauce pan. This is a thicker tomato product that will give it that sauce texture. Turn the heat to medium (4-5) and start stirring. While you are stirring, add all of the spices into the sauce for flavor. Just dash each in until you have it smelling just the way you like.

  3. Step 3

Next we are going to prepare all of the vegetables. You can take all of them, including the garlic, and start dicing them. Once they are all cut up, you can throw them in a frying pan with some olive oil and start browning them. If you want to caramelize your onions before hand, you need to fry them first with some sugar until brown. Once all of your veggies are brown you can put them on a paper towel to soak up all of the juices and oil.

  4. Step 4

Now we get to create the cheese mixture. If you have block cheese, all you have to do is break out the cheese grater. I prefer having many types of cheese to add flavor, but you can add as many as you want. Cheddar, mozzarella, muenster and parmigiana is my favorite combination and you need to fill typically one dinner bowl per pizza with the cheese.

  5. Step 5

Now we can start assembling the pizzas. Lay out the pizza dough and first we ladle on the tomato sauce. Add two or three ladles and spread it around with the ladle as well. Next we add the cheese. How much cheese you add is completely your call, but I am personally a big cheese fan, so I like extra cheese. After the cheese is on, you can put on the vegetables. If you would like to add meat to this pizza, you are going to want to brown it first and then put it on top of the veggies.

  6. Step 6

Now that you are ready to cook, put your pizza onto a pizza stone and put it in the oven. Depending if you like crispy crust or not, you should keep it in for a few extra minutes. But typically your going to want to keep it in there for 15-20 minutes, and then just keep eye balling the pizza. You want the crust to be golden and the cheese to be completely melted. Now that it's done, enjoy your pizza!

Tips & Warnings
  • Add various vegetables, meats, spices to change it up.
  • Try making your own pizza crust as well.
