- Yoga
- Aerobic exercise
- Consistency
- Care
-
Step 1
Eat FishAvoid red meats; eat more foods that contain omega-3 fatty acids, including cold-water fish such as salmon, mackerel and halibut; and avoiding saturated fats. Instead, use monounsaturated fats like olive oil.
-
Step 2
Eat green veggieEat lots of green, leafy veggies, these include kale, collard greens and spinach, which are rich in lutein, an antioxidant that research shows may help preserve eye health and deter the risk of macular degeneration. Wolfberries, which are rich in zeaxanthin, also may be beneficial.
-
Step 3
Eat CarrotIntake of Vitamin E,C and beta carotene is must. Vitamin E is found in whole grains, vegetable oil, eggs and nuts; zinc in meat, poultry, fish, whole grains and dairy products; beta carotene in vegetables such as carrots, kale and spinach; and vitamin C in citrus fruits and juices, green peppers, broccoli and potatoes.
-
Step 4
FlaxseedFlaxseed, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids is good for vision, and avoid artificial fats in low-fat baked goods. Diets rich in omega-3 fatty acid foods might also help with dry eyes conditions. Flaxseed is a good alternative of fish for vegetarian people.
-
Step 5
Wear sunglassesProtect your eyes from the sun. To protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, you need to make sure your regular glasses and sunglasses have 100% UV protection.
-
Step 6
Aerobic exerciseExercise daily.Aerobic exercise, in general, reduces eye pressure — which can be beneficial in the case of glaucoma.
-
Step 7
Don't smokeOf course, don’t smoke!Smoking damages blood vessels, causing them to constrict and form atherosclerotic plaques — which can deprive the eye tissue of oxygen.
-
Step 8
Correct sitting postureWhile computer use won’t harm your eyes in the long term, working at a computer can cause eye fatigue and symptoms such as tired, dry, itchy or burning eyes.People can prevent eye stress by sitting correctly at the computer with the screen positioned slightly below the line of sight. The screen shouldn’t be inches away (too close) or so far that you cannot see the print, easily.Glare can create eye strain. People can combat glare at work with antireflective coatings on their computer screens as well as antireflective coatings on their glasses.
-
Step 9
Eye washEvery morning splashing the eyes with cold water is good for eyes health.
Few drops of natural rose water is good for vision and eye. -
Step 10
Yog eye exerciseDo pranayama and Yog eye exercise. First look up, then look down. Now look to the far right and then look far left. Next look up to the right, then look diagonally downward to the left. Repeat in the opposite direction. Now imagine a large clock - look up at 12 o'clock, then circle around it clockwise, quite slowly for two rounds then quicker for three. Repeat the exercise in a counterclockwise direction. Lastly, hold your thumb up about a foot from your face, and move your eyes from the thumb to the wall beyond and back. It's the best remedy.
