Create a Memory Wall in Your Home

Memory walls display pictures of family & friends and memories of good times. This article will list some steps to creating your memory wall.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The most elegant and sophisticated memory walls contain photos and keepsakes encompassed by a similar element. The easiest way to do this is to use all black frames as your cohesive element (but you can use whatever cohesive element you want). Your frames do not all have to be the same, but they do all need to have your cohesive element. You can use square and round frames, big and small frames, and even shadow box frames for 3 dimensional memorable objects.

  2. Step 2

The memory wall should take up the entire wall and each item should be somewhat equally spaced apart.

  3. Step 3

If you do not currently have enough memories to fill your wall, purchase frames now and hang them empty. This will encourage you to make new memories.

  4. Step 4

For a more elegant look, use a black and white photos with a white matte.
