Make Snow Flake Ornaments

Spread some holiday cheer by making Christmas Snow Flake ornaments with your family or your Scouts!

This activity is easy to do for most ages.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • String
  • White Glue
  • Glitter
  • Wax Paper
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

Cover your work surface with a sheet of wax paper. Make a puddle of glue in one corner - about the size of a quarter will do.

  2. Step 2

Cut the string into pieces. You'll need four longer strings, about three to four inches each, plus eight short strings about 1 inch each. You'll also need a two inch string for the circle. Sizes do NOT need to be exact. If you want a larger or smaller snow flake ornament, adjust your sizes as needed.

  3. Step 3

Dip each string into the glue and squeeze the extra glue off with your fingers. Get the strings thoroughly wet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add extra sparkle with different colors of glitter glue.
  • If the strings begin to dry out before the snow flake is formed dab on extra glue.
