Things You'll Need:
- String
- White Glue
- Glitter
- Wax Paper
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Cover your work surface with a sheet of wax paper. Make a puddle of glue in one corner - about the size of a quarter will do.
-
Step 2
Cut the string into pieces. You'll need four longer strings, about three to four inches each, plus eight short strings about 1 inch each. You'll also need a two inch string for the circle. Sizes do NOT need to be exact. If you want a larger or smaller snow flake ornament, adjust your sizes as needed.
-
Step 3
Dip each string into the glue and squeeze the extra glue off with your fingers. Get the strings thoroughly wet.
-
Step 4
Doesn't look like a snow flake yet...Lay the four longest strings on the wax paper in a starburst pattern to start the snow flake.
-
Step 5
Now it looks like a snow flake.Cross the end of each string with a smaller string. Bend into a half circle. Make a circle of the two inch string for the center.
-
Step 6
.Sprinkle the snow flake ornament with glitter. Dot the tips with red glitter glue. You can use any color for the dots.
