Step 1
Take a bubble bath. If you don't have the patience for this then atleast take a hot shower and light aroma candles.
-
Step 2
Once you've had a nice bath or shower, turn on some relaxing music. Now you'll begin a relaxation technique where you start in your toes and tense your muscles for 30 seconds. Then you relax them for 30 seconds and repeat. Do this until you make it all the way to your shoulders, don't focus on one muscle for too long.

Step 3
Visualization is a big key is being able to relieve your stress and relax. Sometimes just being able to close your eyes and picture a place of comfort (for me it's a beach) and imagine you are there in the big picture of your own stress free world.

Step 4
Incense can also relax your body with it's aroma if you get the right kind. Look for a stress relief incense on the web, you may also need to buy an incense burner.

Step 5
Taking walks can be a great way to unwind after a long day. Try walking through the neighborhood, maybe even bring the dog out for a walk around the park.
