How to have lots of fun on MySpace while "wasting your time"

MySpace is a great place to meet friends and stay in touch with friends and family. It's also a great place to have fun, because there are games (apps) to play. But be warned! MySpace can be addictive. My son calls it wasting time; I call it fun.

Step 1

Step 2

MySpace background

After signing in, check out the new themes and layouts for MySpace. There are many sites with backgrounds and graphics for your page. A lot of time can be spent here.
Step 3

Add ALL the apps you find appealing. This will take time, because there are so many.

Make sure to add lots of friends. Send invites to all your friends and family with MySpace. Send invites to others you know who have computers to join you on MySpace. You will need friends who will add the same apps you do. The more members you have in your crew/posse/clan in the apps, the more coins you make and the higher your level. You can also get more stuff with more people.
Step 5

Once you have the app, you will get requests from others who have the app to add them as friends. Also, to make sure you have the friend as part of your crew, etc. in the app, you must go into the app each day, accept/decline requests for your crew, and play it. Individually, this doesn't take much time, but when you have as many apps as I do, it takes a lot of time.
Step 6

After you have a bunch of friends, you can start sending bulletins instead of invites. This way you don’t have to remember who you sent that invite to. All of your friends get it, and it doesn't clog their mailboxes.
Step 7

Most, if not all, apps have forums where you can ask questions or leave your url to be invited, or you can pick up others’ urls and invite them to be your friends. They have to be a friend before you can invite them to an app. This is a good way to add members because the forums are specific to the particular app and you will know they are interested in your app. You can also use the forums to ask questions about the app.

Wasting time? Well, since I got my computer and MySpace, I am on it several hours a day. My son says I could be making money writing articles here on ehow.com, or on other sites on the web. But there I am on Yoville making virtual dollars. Yep, I guess it is a waste. :D

Facebook also has some of these apps. Yoville, a social networking app, is on both MySpace and Facebook (where it started
