How to dress like Princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pastel colored shirt
  • long white skirt
  • triforce banner
  • white shoes
  • white tights
  • golden headband
  • fake sword
  • pink cape
  • foam
  • cardboard
  • gold spray paint
  • elf ears
  • pony tail holders
  1. Step 1

The dress can be as detailed as you wish, it all depends how much effort you want to put into the costume. Pastel pinks and purples look best for the top half of the dress which can be a shirt. This is hemmed into or simply tucked into an ankle length white skirt. Now comes the most recognizable aspect of the outfit.

  2. Step 2

The Triforce is always on the front of the dress as a banner.

  3. Step 3

    Wear white tights.

  4. Step 4

Princess Zelda's trademark golden shoulders can be replicated by making it yourself with foam, cardboard, and gold spray paint, or you can try finding it in a costume store as an accessory for costumes.

  5. Step 5

Find a golden tiara or at the very least a golden headband.

  6. Step 6

If you are able to find Triforce earrings, where them as she does.

  7. Step 7
    Elf ears

    Elf ears

Check out your local costume store for fake elf ears. These are vital for the outfit.

  8. Step 8

Do your hair the way Zelda does by braiding two parts on either side just before the ears. Have the rest of the hair loose.

  9. Step 9

    Carry a (fake) sword.

  10. Step 10

    Wear a pink cape.

  11. Step 11

    Wear white shoes.
