Things You'll Need:
- Pencil (graphite)
- Paper A
- Paper B

Step 1
Rub the back of your drawing with a pencil. If you are working with tracing paper or something you can see when you flip it over, you can pencil the drawing at your workspace. However, if you can’t see the image and do not wish to take the time to do the entire back, use a window and place it picture side down, pressing it against the glass so that the sun allows your image to show through to the back.

Step 2
Flip your page over. Next, place it onto whatever other paper you want to transfer to (Paper B), with the rubbed surface facing down. Make sure to put a knee down, or do something to make sure things stay in place. Some people use tape. Finally, start to trace around the original lines you made in the drawing. Now, it is a good idea to test a small area, before you do it all, but I feel like it ruins it, so I do not. Something to note, if you do pencil the entire back, when you apply the transfer, some graphite residue may remain.

Step 3
Slowly lift up your original page (Page A), you should successfully have transfered your image. I will tell you right now, this will not be the greatest copy, but at least you have a guide. Now you can trace over lines you like, and easily erase lines you do not.
