This article is about how to recognize the opportunities and benefits created by the strong competitive market advantage that eHow has built. Many authors it seems, have no idea of the background of eHOw and the stability eHow provides for earnings. Newer sites might lure, but do you know these thing?

    EHOW has a readership of nearly 25 million PER MONTH, according to news sites. 25 million in readership, give eHow high ranking in popular websites to visit. 25 million readership monthly, translates to an author as an incredible opportunity to earn.

  2. Step 2

    EHOW has had 70,000,000 that is 70 MILLION unique visitors. That is incredible! If you as an author can have even .1% of those visitors read your article you will be achieving great things. That would be approximately 70,000 visitors. My math is fuzzy, so if it's 70,000, or even 7,000 visitors, I would be doing the happy dance. Great things can happen with that many unique visitors.

  3. Step 3

    EHOW has over 3 billion conversations going. That is incredible for social media. Those conversations convert to readership and article income.

  4. Step 4

    Forbes magazine once stated, "This rise in online traffic secures eHow's ranking as the number one how-to site on the Web". Do you know how incredible this positioning is? Forbes is a leader in all things business and money.

  5. Step 5

    EHOW is not a cheapskate company! They treat employees well. They have wined and dined eHow members to improve the site for authors. Listening to suggestions and working to improve earnings possibilities. They do a tremendous job of keeping the site stable for publishing articles.

    EHOW's parent company DEMAND MEDIA has 5 offices located in the United States and UK. Demand Media has been in business for years, as opposed to months at some other writing sites. They have at least 65 companies and are strong. They are building the web's largest content and social media marketplace.

  7. Step 7

    EHOW has a great partnership with Google and often article titles will be indexed high in Google ranks within hours if not a day or two. I have yet to see that on any other site I have tried. For instance just Google your name and the site name. When I Google; my name & ehow, the search results show some of my articles on ehow ON other sites only comments made about the site show up in search. Try this with your own author name.

  8. Step 8

    Sometimes it takes just a little research to find out about a company's background. When using Google, do not forget to search by news. You can also gather lots of information from the about eHow pages. Further information can be gathered from users on the eHow forums. Se if you don't agree that eHow presents the best, stable medium for earning writing dollars.
