Step 1
For your Christmas tree, decide if you want an artificial tree or a real one. Both have many pros and cons, so decide what is best for you.

After you have established what tree you would like, its time to pick out a theme!
You can choose a color scheme, object theme (such as angels, snowmen, etc) or an "anything goes" theme!
Once you decide on your theme, you can purchase ornaments, lights, and ribbon that you want on your tree. -

A few other indoor decorations that you can use are candles, wreaths, greenery (great for a fireplace mantle) and lights.

As for outdoor lights, the sky is the limit. You can stick to a theme of white or colored lights. They come in various types and sizes to accommodate any taste. There are also many types of outdoor decor available from inflatable snow globes to trains, and everything in between!
