Get all of your tools ready this is a quick process.
Place your potting soil in the planting tray and wet it down.
It is best to use warm water the potting mix absorbs it better.
Then cut two lengths of wire. Make two large square "U" s that are the size of two opposite sides of your tray. similar to diagram.

  2. Step 2

Open the rooting hormone. Get a cup of cool water. Start looking at you plant. look for green stems with new growth two or three leaves. Make your cuts at the base of the new growth no more than 3 inches long. Wet them immediately. dip wetted end into hormone and place into potting soil. leave two to three inches between cuttings so that leaves do not touch.

  3. Step 3

When you have filled the tray cover and place on warming mat or above heating vent. Roots need to be kept warm but they should not be in direct sun light. They should be let to grow this way three to four weeks. make sure that they are watered, or kept damp both soil and leaves. you should get a good turn out.

Tips & Warnings
  • make sure that once you make a cut that it goes directly into water, rooting hormone, and soil before you make the next cut.
  • to not let cuttings flower till they double in size.
