Things You'll Need:
- Setting Lotion
- 6 Plastic Rollers
- Paper Neckstrip
- Hooded Dryer
- Paddle brush
- Wide toothed & tail comb
- finishing spray
-
Step 1
After shampooing and conditioning the hair, apply setting lotion and comb thru the hair. Directly on the top of the head, section out some hair and wrap around a roller and clip to secure it in place. Next, place one roller directly behind the first one, and two rollers directly in front of the first roller. Then roll a horizontal section or hair on each side of the first four rollers. Roll all of the hair downward or 'under'.
-
Step 2
Wrap the remaining hair around the head in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Stretch the paper neckstrip and tie around the head. Secure the neckstrip in place with clips. Place the client under a warm dryer. Let the hair dry completely.

Step 3
Once the hair is dry, remove the strip and rollers from the hair. Depending on the type of hair you're working with, you may want to apply a small amount of moisturizing cream. Brush the hair out with a paddle brush. Still using the paddle brush, wrap all the hair back around the head in the same direction. Secure the wrapped hair with clips, cover the hair with a plastic cap or saran wrap and place the client back under the dryer for another 10 minutes.
