How to Prepare for NLN Nursing Mobility Exam
The National League for Nursing (NLN) offers two exams or mobility options for nurses who want to gain entrance into a nursing program with advanced standing. The mobility option I is an exam for those who want an advanced standing towards an Associate Degree in nursing, while the mobility option II is for those who want advanced standing towards a Bachelor's degree in nursing. Nursing students who want to exercise the mobility option I should follow these guidelines.

Read the "Review Guide for RN Pre-Entrance Exam" by Mary McDonald. This book is part of the nursing league's book series with thousands of questions and three practice tests to prepare you for the mobility option I exam.

Make flashcards from the book's material. For the topics that you have most difficulty with, create flashcards for those topics with the question on the front side and the answers on the back.

Use online flashcards. Download Shockwave player to access a variety of flashcards on a wide array of topics.

Use the practice questions and overview material on the NLN website. Sign up and register for online access to sample problems and answers similar to those on the mobility option I exam.
