Andy Warhol is one of America's most famous and admired artists. One of the key figures in the Pop Art movement, Warhol made a name for himself with his prints and paintings of everyday objects and celebrities. Maybe that's why reproductions of his work earn millions of dollars a year---pop culture is familiar to most, and loved by just about everyone. Warhol's popularity means you can find endless ways to decorate your home with his works and style. Here are a few tips to get you started.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose vibrant color combinations. Warhol was famous for pairing attention-grabbing colors, so channel his style by going bold. Look through his work for inspiration. Try light and dark shades of the same color, like light pink with bright pink, or equally bright versions of several different colors at once.

  2. Step 2

Purchase Warhol art prints online. He was extremely prolific, so choose from hundreds of prints available at low costs.

Order prints specific to the room you're decorating. For a kitchen, for example, choose from several food-related Warhol works that feature foods like strawberries, ice cream cones and bananas. A feminine room could look cute with Warhol's shoe and fashion-themed prints. Browse through his many works featuring animals and order some of them for a child's room. Consider decorating a dorm with quote posters featuring his self-portraits.

  4. Step 4

Choose several of your favorite Warhol celebrity portraits and hang them in the same room for a glamorous theme. His fascination with celebrities led to a large collection of paintings of the famous---Marilyn Monroe, Beethoven and Queen Elizabeth II are just a few of them.

  5. Step 5

Find vintage replicas of everyday objects and decorate your kitchen with them. In some of his most well-known works of art, Warhol glorified mass-marketed products like Coca-Cola bottles and Campbell's Soup cans.

  6. Step 6

Make your own Warhol-inspired pop art to hang on the walls. Many online businesses (see Resources below) allow you to submit a photo to be "Warhol-ized" into a high-quality print.

  7. Step 7

Accessorize a room with Warhol-related objects. His massive popularity means you can find just about anything with his work on it, such as magnets, blankets, paperweights and calendars.
