Master Goth Makeup
Master Goth Makeup

What started out in the early 80's as part of the punk subculture has now become a society of individuals who are free-thinking, creative, passionate and slightly rebellious souls of all ages. Do not mistake them for Vampires or wanna-be's, most Goths are true to their beliefs and find comfort and refuge in the society they know as Goth.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Exfoliating Scrub
  • Exfoliating Sponge
  • Cream or Liquid Foundation
  • Goth foundation (2 shades lighter than regular)
  • Moisturizer
  • Concealer
  • Concealer Brush
  • Makeup Sponge
  • Loose face powder
  1. Step 1

First find the perfect foundation to achieve the Goth look. You want to stick with one that is 2 shades lighter than your skin tone; mix your current foundation with equal parts Goth foundation. Please avoid the cheap Halloween makeup, it is not of good quality and will not blend thoroughly; instead opt for products made by companies such as Bloody Mary©

  2. Step 2

Before applying the makeup, you need to exfoliate thoroughly. The texture and shade of the foundation will accentuate any dead skin cells. Use a buffing facial sponge and an exfoliating cleanser and gently buff the face in a circular motion.

  3. Step 3

Apply a light moisturizer to protect the skin from drying out due to the thickness of the Goth foundation.

  4. Step 4

Apply a pale concealer to any dark areas using a concealer brush.

  5. Step 5

Next, apply the foundation over your face with a sponge. Make sure to blend the makeup along the jaw line and down the neck. Be sure not to forget your ears!

  6. Step 6

Now add a few drops more of your regular foundation to the mixture to apply to your neck, collarbones and cleavage.

  7. Step 7

Set the makeup with a loose pale or light powder using a large powder brush.
