Instructions

    • 1

Attach the feet. Take one black pipe cleaner and cut two 5-inch pieces and one 2-inch piece. Bend the two 5-inch pieces in half. Bend the sharp ends slightly so they don't poke anyone.
Put a dab of glue toward the front of the cork and then toward the back of the cork. Fold the middle section of the legs over the glue. When finished, your cork should have four legs.

    • 2

Make a hanger for your ornament. Use very fine wire, almost thread-like, and wrap it around the body of the cork. Make a loop at the top, and twist the wire tight around the cork.

    • 3

Make your sheep fat and fluffy. Pull the wool roving until it is light and airy. Wrap the wool around the cork. First wrap from front to back. Then wrap around the mid-section, and then around and between the legs until you have a pleasantly plump sheep. Remarkably, no glue is needed in this step, because the roving sticks to itself.

Attach the face. Fold the leftover 2-inch piece of pipe cleaner into a "V." Curl the tips of the "V" back as if they are horns. Glue the "V" to the front of your sheep.

    • 5

Add eyes and a bow. Googly eyes work best for this step. Glue them onto your newly created "V". You also can glue a festive bow to the front of your sheep.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to store these little guys individually in little bags, such as sandwich bags, so the roving doesn't unravel or get stuck to other ornaments.
