Trampolines are a fun way to get a workout and spend time with your loved ones. However, it's important to make sure you are using your trampoline safely and taking extra care to protect your loved ones from injury. Safety nets are the best way to prevent injuries but not always the easiest to set up. While actual installation methods vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, the basic principles are the same.

Instructions

    • 1

Check your instructions to make sure your safety net came with all the needed parts to install it. If any parts are missing, call the dealer you purchased from.

    • 2

Assemble all the poles. Most trampoline poles come in two pieces and just slide together.

    • 3

Attach one pole to each leg of the trampoline using the hardware provided with your safety net. For added stability, you can also use zip ties to reinforce the hardware. The pole will stand approximately 6 feet above the trampoline.

    • 4

Look at your net and find the top. The top connecting strap should be wider than the one the bottom.

    • 5

Loop the top connecting strap over the first pole. Follow your instruction manual to determine if you should weave the net on the inside or the outside of the next pole. Continue attaching the top of the net to the poles according to the instructions.

    • 6

Secure the top strap to the pole where you started attaching the net either with provided hardware or a double knot, according to your instructions.

    • 7

Tuck the bottom of the safety net between the safety pad and the trampoline. Alternatively, your safety net may have instructions that tell you to attach the bottom of the net to the trampoline legs with a bungee cord.

    • 8

Make sure all straps are secure, so no one gets a foot caught in them while they are jumping.

Tips & Warnings

  • It's best to have a second person around to help. This will speed up the process and add an extra pair of eyes for any mistakes.

  • Make sure EVERYTHING is secured!

  • If any parts are missing, call your dealer and get new parts.
