This guide will show you how you can help keep your teeth healthy by ditching the bottled water.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

People will pay anything for health. But would you be surprised to know that the bottled water you keep shelling out 1.69 for is actually less healthy and clean than regular American tap water? Studies have shown that tap water is actually cleaner than most bottled water, and contains more minerals which help build stronger teeth.

  2. Step 2

Children should drink tap water as long as it is deemed acceptable by city sanitation standards. Luckily, most water in America is heavily monitored and clean. It also contains more flouride than its filtered bottled counterpart. Flouride helps build strong teeth, which is why it is found in toothpaste.

  3. Step 3

So ditch the bottled water and switch to tap. It is cleaner, more nutritious, and cheaper. If you buy one bottled water a day for a year, you have spent $616.85. Wouldn't you rather keep that money instead of spending it on something that is free?
