Things You'll Need:
- Determination
- Gloves (Optional)
- A dog
-
Step 1
First, Teaching your dog you are in charge. Begin by griping your dog's neck skin (Not too tightly) and force him down to the ground. Hold him there until he is completely calm and motionless. Once he is calm, release your grip. The dog will usually bolt away from you. If he does that, take him back to the spot where you did it the first time and do it again. If he does it another time, that is ok. You have completed step 1.
-
Step 2
Second, A way for him to behave quickly. If your dog barks or is being aggressive toward you or other dogs. Simply spray him with very cold water. If your dog still does not behave, pour a small bucket of water. If he continues to bark, you keep pouring water on him until he stops. (You must not give up or the dog will realize you have won, so he will keep doing it.) Once the dog has stopped barking, he has learned that you won't quit.

Step 3
Third, Teaching him to quit what he's doing when you tell him to. If your dog is doing something you don't want him to be doing. Make a funny noise that attracts the dogs attention. (The noise is less appealing to him than the sound of your voice.) If the dog is on a leash make the noise and while doing that simply pinch his neck' s skin or poke him behind the ears. (That is what dog's mothers do to get their puppy's to stop.) Keep doing this till the puppy has learned those things are off limits.
