Things You'll Need:
- shortbread cookies
- peanuts
- confectioners' sugar,
- brown sugar
- semisweet chocolate morsels
- light corn syrup
- bourbon, rum or champagne

Step 1
3 1/2 cp short bread cookies, or cookies of your choice.
1 cp finely chopped peanuts.
1 cp confectioners' sugar.
1/2 cp brown sugar.
1 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsels.
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup bourbon, rum or champagne -
Step 2
Break cookies into crumbly pieces, feel free to use your hands.
Put peanuts in a zip lock bag, let all the air out, lay a towel on top of bag. Beat the peanuts with a meat hammer. Just to break them up into little pieces. -
Step 3
In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine crushed wafers, and 1 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
1 cp peanuts, and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, 1/2 cp brown sugar, 1/2 cp corn syrup: -

Add Bourbon or rum or champagne; stir until all ingredients are mixed well.

Step 5
Now it's time for the fun part
Using your hands, shape mixture into 1-inch balls; place on waxed paper. -
Step 6
Place remaining confectioners' sugar in a shallow bowl. Roll balls in confectioners' sugar; place on waxed paper in a container, adding more waxed paper between layers, or place in small paper or foil candy cups.

Step 7
Store in airtight container for about 3 days before serving. Store for up to 2 weeks.
Makes 4 dozen.

on 12/3/2008 Liquor can be omitted. You can use fruit juice,soda, And or rum flavor. But other than that you can use any kind of alcohol you choose.
