Make Paper Snowflakes, the Easy Way

Remember sitting with your Mom or Grandmother making Paper Snowflakes? Folding the paper and getting to use the grownup scissors, be sure to give that special memory to your children too. Just following these easy steps will put beautiful snowflakes on the tree and in their hearts.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Choose a beautiful paper. Typically, white but any color will do, I have even seen a mix of green and red and white that looks great.

  2. Step 2

Cut Paper into an Exact Square (Any Size). Try using different sizes for a unique grouping.

  3. Step 3

Fold paper in half twice forming a smaller square.

  4. Step 4

Fold corner to corner once forming a triangle (this leaves one long side of the triangle with all the loose sides and the other long side as one fold)

  5. Step 5

Cut along all sides, leaving enough places uncut to hold the snowflake together (be sure to make at least a few cuts deep into the center of the triangle).

  6. Step 6

Unfold the snowflake to see what you have made, you can even use this as a Children's Christmas Party Craft if you precut the squares it will be fast and Easy for all.
