  1. Step 1

    Identify the nature of the problem. What is the exact difficulty you are having with your camera? What do you need it to do that it is not doing? Or, what do you want it to do better?

  2. Step 2

    If you cannot transfer pictures from your Kodak C743 to your computer, check that you have the most current version of the software. Go to the Menu Bar and select Help.
    You need to have at least version 5.1 for Windows and Mac operating systems. If you do not have the correct version, download it from the Kodak support site.

  3. Step 3
     

    If your Kodak Easy Share C743 repair issue is Power related, such as the camera does not turn on or the ready light does not turn on, turn your camera off. Take the batteries out of your camera. Check your User's Manual to confirm that you are using the right type of batteries and that they are properly positioned in the camera. Make sure that the batteries are new or fully charged. Turn your camera back on.

  4. Step 4

    If the flash on your Kodak Easy Share C743 does not fire, make sure your camera is off. Replace the batteries with new or fully charged ones. Turn the camera back on. Set the flash. Take a picture to confirm that the flash is working.

  5. Step 5
     

    If your Kodak Easy Share C743 repair issue has to do with the camera not recording either pictures or video, turn the camera off. Let 10 seconds elapse. Turn your camera back on. Take a picture or record a video.
