Things You'll Need:
- Hairspray
- Stain Remover (Shout)
- Toothbrush or small scrub brush
-
Step 1
The first step is to generously spray the ink stained area with hairspray. Try not to use a hair gel or an aerosol can. I usually use an basic, inexpensive bottle of hairspray.
-
Step 2
Let the hairspray set on the stain for a few minutes. The longer it set the better chance you have of removing the stain.
-
Step 3
Use a toothbrush and scrub the stain in a circular pattern. Don't scrub too hard as the brush may damage the material.
-
Step 4
Rinse stained area with water. If the stain is not completely gone repeat these steps. It may take a few times of spraying the area.
-
Step 5
Before placing clothing in the washing machine, spray with a stain remover such as Shout® to be sure all the ink will be removed. Also try to wash the clothing as soon as possible.
