Heather Locklear may be in her forties, but she’s a role model for women of all ages. Though she’s been acting for decades, she still looks better than women half her age. Getting a body like hers is possible, but you have to put in the work.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Incorporate a healthy amount of fruits and vegetables into your daily diet. The actress eats more of these foods than she does others.

  2. Step 2

Learn to love sushi. Locklear has said in the past that her diet is rich in sushi and that she’d prefer it to any type of red meat.

  3. Step 3

Cut out junk food and sweets from your diet. The actress stopped eating junk food years ago because she didn’t like the way they made her look.

  4. Step 4

Treat or reward yourself with your favorite food. In the past Locklear has told reporters that she rewarded herself with a snack from McDonald’s or one of her other favorite fast food restaurants.

  5. Step 5

Use a personal trainer to get the best results. When preparing for an acting role, Locklear depends on her personal trainer Garrett Warren.

  6. Step 6

Take up yoga to work your mind, body and spirit. Locklear has done yoga for a number of years now.

  7. Step 7

Add cardio workouts to your regular routine such as working out on a treadmill. This is one of the activities recommended to the actress by her personal trainer.

  8. Step 8

Spend an hour in the gym five days a week, whether working out on your own or with a trainer. Locklear does this every week to stay in shape.

on 12/3/2008 With the exception of the personal trainer, which most people can't afford, everything here is great advice and very doable.

on 12/3/2008 I really don't think these things are too much to ask for a lovely body. This is good news.
