How to create a second AOL screen name
You can have up to seven AOL screen names. You can use your different screen names for various projects. Make the name
consistent with the project you're working so you can know which screen name goes with a particular project, and all your screen names can be linked together.

1
Log into your primary AOL AIM account. Click on Dashboard, then select, "Make a Screen Name." This opens a new window. Select "Create an Account" then continue. Enter desired screen name, password, then re-enter password.
-
2
Choose your display name. Enter an Account Security question in case you
forget your password. Enter the answer for your security question, and re-type your answer. You can set up an alternate email address but it is not required. -
-
3
Enter your date of birth, gender, country, and zip code. Enter the Captcha (weird set of letters and numbers that you most often cannot make out). By entering the letters/numbers you are agreeing to the terms of service. You're set, you now have a second AOL screen name.
-
4
Once your screen name is set you can now link it to your primary account by logging into that account. Click on My Account, select "Linked Screen Names", then "Add a Screen Name", enter your secondary name and password, click on save, the two are now linked together.
