If you want to create stunning animations, one product that can help is the 3D Flash Animator. You can create arcade-style games and build sophisticated websites that do not appear as if they come from templates that were preprogrammed by web developers and programmers. You can create animation from scratch by creating the object using the drawing tools provided in the software--or you can import pictures, video or other animations to add more effects as you learn. 3D Flash Animator makes it possible for someone who is just starting out to create animations, whether as a hobby or as a profession.

Instructions

      Open 3D Flash Animator

      Open the 3D Flash Animator program by going to "Start>All Programs>3D Flash Animator."

      New Movie

      Start creating a new project or animation. Click the "New Movie" button on the top menu bar.

      Import a file

      Click on the "Add New Element" button on the right-hand Movie Properties panel. Click on the "Import a File" button to work on an existing file. Importing a file allows you to import images, sounds, videos and other media files. You can use BMP, GIF, JPG and PNG formatted images. You can choose vector files from Paint, SVG and SWF. Use animated formats that come in GIF, movies and SWF, as well as video files in AVI, FLV, MOV, MPG and WMV extensions. Sounds can come as AU, MP3 and WAV and use 3D mode in 3Ds and objects.

      Add new elements

      Click on "Add Features." You can blend, transform, clone, scroll tiles, transform colors and many more. The "Elements" window has Properties and Features sections.

      Transform color

      Transform color by using the color-grid palette on the menu. Slide the indicator to your left or right to adjust the color intensity.

      Add New Events

      Click on "Add New Events" to show one or more elements using animated effects.

      Animate Elements

      Click on "Animate Elements" to animate one or more elements using effects.

      Choose Transition

      Click on "Choose Elements," then "Choose Transition" to add transition. You can choose "Acid Reflux," "Bee Line," "Blank," "Mexican Wave," "Ping," "Spin Away" and "Spin in Face" as transition effects.

      Adjust Effects

      Adjust the transition of the frame with the Up and Down arrow keys. You can adjust the change time between transitions, as well as the scale and rotation of the image.

      Click on the drop-down option to "Loop when finished." Change the background color to add visual impact.

      Preview the animation effects. Once you are satisfied, save the file.

      Play the saved flash animation by clicking on the "Play" button. Click "Play Movie in Browser" to see how it will show up in a browser window.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add sounds and image captions to impose a storyline. There are more tools on the 3D Flash Animator; you can experiment by clicking each one and applying the changes to your project. Upload the project on a server so you can share and link to any site you may want to share your animation samples.

  • Use only copyright-free materials when uploading images from the Internet.
