Things You'll Need:
- 9 cups Chex cereal
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 Cups powdered sugar
- Microwave safe bowl
- Wax paper
- 2 gal. size plastic resealable bag

Step 1
The first thing you are going to want to do is, measure out all your cereal into a bowl and set it aside for later.

The next step is to pour your chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine in a microwave safe bowl. You are going to cook that uncovered on high for 1 minute, then stir.

Cook for 30 more seconds, or until it's smooth when you stir it. Now you stir in your vanilla.

Pour your mixture over your cereal that you set aside, and stir until it's evenly coated. When it's all coated pour it into a large(2 gal) plastic bag. Resealable is good. Then add your powdered sugar, and seal your bag. Shake it until the powdered sugar is evenly coating the cereal.

Now you can spread your puppy chow out on a piece of tin foil or wax paper to cool. Store in a the refrigerator.

on 1/31/2009 AHA! I thought this was really about making dog food. Then when I saw the picture I thought gee that looks food food. My friend makes something similar but she calls it White Trash LOL.
Still sounds yummy, but now I want to know how to make homemade dog food. ;O)
