Things You'll Need:
- QB wristband
- Microsoft Excell
- Home PC or laptop with color printer
- Clear packing tape
- Football plays
-
Step 1
Use your PC to open a new Excel file. You will want to save it with a name like "Wristband Plays". Use excel to Type your plays in an organized way that fits you and your offense best. Generally most offense utilize Left strong and Right strong or Lucky and Roger formation. Plays typically correspond to the opposite formation with the opposite numbers. Example (Lucky 25 Give and Roger 24 Give) Use abbreviations and combine information where possible to minimize the size of your wristband. One line of plays might look like this...
L/R 25/24 Give...corresponding to the aforementioned plays. -
Step 2
Finished QB WristbandAfter you have all your plays organized in Excel use cell color fill tool to color code your plays. Red for run, Purple or pink for pass. (Using colors that sound like the type of play you want to run will help you to make a faster mental to visual connection during game situations.) Or you can color code by Formation, run hole number, and pass route. It's all up to the user. Use Excel to make the cells an appropriate size.

Step 3
This next step is all trial and error. You will need to adjust your print size several times to get the correct fit for your particular wristband. Once you acquire the desired size you will need to cut the plays from the paper.

Step 4
The final step is using the clear packing tape to "laminate" your plays. Simply lay the cut out plays on a table, tear 2 or 3 strips of packing tape off. Going from the inside or middle of the paper, press the tape down to form a bubble free bond. Be sure to tape front and back using a "wrap around" technique.
