Choose some pieces of candy that you allow your toddler to have. Every parent is different as to what types of candy that is age appropriate for their child. Some of the candy that I allow my two year old daughter to have is small chocolate bars and large lollipops. For a child of this age, you do want to include some candy in their Christmas stocking. You want to make sure not to over do it with the sweets.

One of the little gifts that I always put in my child's Christmas stocking is a new toothbrush. This may not be the most exciting gift that she gets this holiday season. Make sure that the toothbrush has one of your child's favorite cartoon characters to help her become excited about brushing. Not ever gift in the stocking has to be frivolous.

There are great small stuffed animals that you can get to place in your toddler's Christmas stocking. You can choose from an assortment of animals or dolls that are small and stuffed to fit into the stocking. If your little boy is not into stuffed animal, you can replace this small gift with a toy car or truck.

Finish off your toddler's Christmas stocking with giving them their own Christmas keepsake. Many stores sell children's themed Christmas ornaments. Find a Christmas ornament that shows what your child is into right now and place it in her stocking. This will be a cherished keepsake that she will be able to grow with.
