Things You'll Need:
- microwave safe bowl
- water
- cloth or paper towel
- dirty microwave
-
Step 1
Set your microwave on high for three minutes. This will boil the water and the steam will loosen all the grime on the inside of the microwave.
-
Step 2
When it is done very CAREFULLY remove the bowl of water. I would suggest wearing oven mitts in case you spill any water.
-
Step 3
You should now be able to easily wipe down the inside of the microwave with a cloth or paper towel. If it is not coming clean easily you may need to put the water back in for a few minute, it all depends on the microwave and just how dirty it is.
-
Step 4
Don’t forget to wipe the top of the microwave too. If your microwave has a revolving plate that can be removed just stick that in the dishwasher.
-
Step 5
Don’t forget to wipe the top of the microwave too. If your microwave has a revolving plate that can be removed just stick that in the dishwasher.
-
Step 6
Do this once a week to keep your microwave sparkling clean.
