Nature has given us Rose Mosqueta Oil as a gift for our skin. It's delicate balance of vitamin C, fatty acids and retinoic acid, heals scars, fades age spots and repairs sun damage, all without synthetic ingredients or false promises.

Things You'll Need:

  • Rose Mosqueta Oil
  1. Step 1

Rose Mosqueta is the name given to Wild Rose oil, but specifically from Chile or Argentina. The best quality is harvested from the valleys of the Andes. The oil is taken from the berry (seed) of the plant. It is of the same variety as Rosa moschata, R. rubiginosa and R. canina, which is the familiar wild rose that Rose Hips are made from.

  2. Step 2

Rose Mosqueta oil has been tested by researchers for over 30 years. Many of its therapeutic constituents are still being discovered. It's healing properties for the skin though, have been well documented.

  3. Step 3

They attribute the skin rejuvenating properties to: it's high vitamin C content (which in its natural form is non-irritating to the skin), its high fatty acid content (EFA’s), and finally it's natural source of retinoic acid. Most women are familiar with Retinol A in some skin products, in particular some prescription creams for scars. Rose Mosqueta has naturally occurring Retinoic acid, which has none of the side-effects of synthetic Retinol.

  4. Step 4

I had fine lines around my eyes, a few age spots, an eczema scar, and sun damaged skin. My skin was dry, with an oily t-zone, and allergy sensitive. I tried many products that: clogged my pores, burned my skin, or gave me eczema. Most creams or oils made my skin feel hydrated only for the initial hour or so after applying.

  5. Step 5

I used Rose Mosqueta oil reluctantly, but from the first moment it touched my skin, I realized there was a difference. My skin came alive again. The color came back, the elasticity, the eczema scar disappeared after three months, the age spots faded within 6 months and the fine lines near my eyes receded.

  6. Step 6

Rose Mosqueta oil caused no allergic reaction, didn’t clog my pores, and didn’t irritate my skin (it only caused a lovely blush in the beginning as the blood circulation improved in the deep skin layer). I’m 45 and most people think I look like 30.

  7. Step 7

Rose Mosqueta is a gift from Nature. I wish I had known about this oil in my 30’s. I can only imagine what my skin would be like now. In any case, give it a try. I threw every single cream I had out after a few weeks.

Tips & Warnings
  • It can even be dabbed under the eyes.
  • I personally use the Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil and Wild Rose Intensive Facial Oil. I have used pure Rose Mosqueta oil, which was purely amazing, but a bit expensive. In the beginning, if you can find the capsules with the pure oil, the effects will be dramatic.
  • It improves stretch marks and scars.
  • For scars, apply only after the wound has healed completely.
  • Great for acne scars as well.
  • Though it rarely causes an allergic reaction, everyone has different sensitivities, so dab some on your wrist and do a skin test first.

on 11/30/2008 I am going to check this out. I don't use too much as I have crazy allergies, but this might be something. Thanks!
