Using online MLS (Multiple Listing Service) has become a popular way for realtors and homebuyers alike to list and search for houses for sale. Many real-estate agents use virtual-reality tours that use Flash, 360-degree panoramic pictures and videos to present a home to a potential buyer. Using virtual-reality tours is the next best thing to a real-life showing. Learn how to use this function and find the perfect home for your family.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click and hold down the left button on your mouse. The cursor should become a hand with a pointing finger. Place the hand on the picture and point it in the direction you want your view to move.

  2. Step 2

Click on the magnifying-glass icon that contains a plus sign and point to an area of the picture. This will allow you to zoom in on the screen.

  3. Step 3

Click on the magnifying-glass icon with a minus sign and hold down the mouse button. Place your cursor on the picture; it will zoom back out for you.

  4. Step 4

Double-click on the speaker icon to turn music, narration or other sound effects on or off. Double-clicking a second time will reverse your action.

  5. Step 5

Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate up, down, left or right within the tour.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you hold the hand icon near the middle of the screen, the tour will take place more slowly. If you want to speed it up, point to the right or left of the screen and the rotation will pick up its pace.
