Make Name and Face Magnets for Students

I use my name/face magnets for several different things in the classroom. Not only do I use them for a discipline system, but I also use them to keep score for several different games the kids play in class. I used to have the kids write their names up on the board to keep score--but I soon realized that writing their names was quite time consuming--so I created these magnets for them to move around the magnetic white board. They're pretty easy to make--here is how.

Instructions

    • 1

Buy some adhes-a-mag from your local arts and crafts store.

    • 2

Make name strips and place the adhes-a-mag to the back of the names and cut them out.

    • 3

Take pictures of the kids' faces, cut them out and place them on the adhes-a-mag.

    • 4

Peel up the corner of all the magnets; otherwise they are very difficult to get off of the board.

    • 5

Tell the kids that they are never, ever to touch anyone else's magnet!
