Plug in hair curlers and allow them to heat up. Please note the steps below can work even if you do not have hot rollers.

  2. Step 2

After showering, towel dry hair. Add shine serum or styling cream to damp hair (optional but recommended).

  3. Step 3

Blow dry hair pin straight using flat brush. Ensure hair is completely dry - hot hair tools can burn hair if wet. Use Hair iron if desired to straighen hair and add extra shine.

  4. Step 4

Using a brush or comb, divide hair into two inch sections. Wrap hair around roller, and pin in place. Use hair spray generously on each separate section.

  5. Step 5

If hot curlers, leave in hair for 10-20 minutes. If curlers are not hot, leave overnight if possible, but if not leave in hair for 30 minutes. Curls will be tight at first. Run fingers through curls and use additional hairspray if desired.

Tips & Warnings
  • If not using hot curlers, use extra hairspray
  • Use larger rollers for larger curls and waves. Use smaller rollers for tighter curls.
  • Be careful of hot curlers - these can burn skin!
