inexpensively your carpet can smell and look as good as new.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • paper towels ,and /or old ragged towels, vinegar, baking soda.wet vacuum.
  1. Step 1

With a urine accident number one is that you have to soak up as much of the urine as you can .Use your old ragged towels for this procedure after you have soaked up as much wetness as you can soak the spot with one half cup per quart white vinegar to tap water.

  2. Step 2

Once the cleaner has been applied blot the area as you had done before in the removal of the urine waste. Now you need to get a dry towel to place over the spot then place heavy books on it to further collect the deep urine spill.Any heavy object will do as long as it is not to heavy for you to lift .

  3. Step 3

Leave the heavy object positioned there over night to continue to draw out wetness. The next day or until the spot is dry sprinkle baking powder which will capture any additional moisture.A wet vacuum can also be used to soak up the moisture as well.

  4. Step 4

For a solid based accident use towels or rags to pick up the area for dumping in the toilet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not use an ammonia based product which will trigger your pet back to the same area due to the fact that urine is ammonia based.Apply a cleanser such as resolve then get a towel, and use a wet vacuum or refer to the heavy object routine until the area is dry .
