Need to cook for a large crowd? Make custom omelets for everyone in 20 minutes or less. This is wonderful for camping with kids, family get togethers, and more.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Meats
  • Veggies
  • Ziploc Bags
  • Water
  • Large Pot
  1. Step 1

Begin by preparing all the ingredients. Cut up the meat and veggies. Place all the options into containers or bags for your guests to choose.

  2. Step 2

Give each person a bag and instruct him/her to write their name on it in permanant marker.

  3. Step 3

Start boiling the water in the large pot.

  4. Step 4

Give everyone two to three eggs in their bag.

  5. Step 5

Instruct them to "scramble" their egg. Make sure all bags are shut before mixing.

  6. Step 6

Form and assembly line and allow each person to add desired ingredients to their bag.

  7. Step 7

Once everyone has finished place all the bags into the boiling water for 10-15 minutes.

  8. Step 8

Carefully remove the bags from the water.

  9. Step 9

Distribute omelets. Omelets can be eaten directly from bag after being allowed to cool or they can be served on plates.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be cautious around boiling water.
  • Use caution when removing omelets from water. It is recomended to use tongs to help remove bags.
