Things You'll Need:
- Kabobs
- Assorted Fruit
- Assorted Cookie Cutters
- Knife
- Sink
-
Step 1
Begin by gathering all necessary supplies. You will need a clean coutertop to prepare on.
-
Step 2
Wash all of your fruit thoroughly with warm water.
-
Step 3
Cut fruit into thin sheets, no more than 1" thick. Note: Grapes and Strawberries are best cut in half or left whole
-
Step 4
Use cookie cutters to cut fruit into fun shapes.(This can also be done with a knife, but use caution.) The kids love to help with this part. The left overs chunks can be used to create a fruit salad.
-
Step 5
Place the fruit on to the kabobs. This is another step in which kids can help.
-
Step 6
Place all the kabobs on a platter and ENJOY! If you will not be eating them right away be sure to refridgerate.

on 7/31/2009 This is a great idea. My kids would love this. I also think I will have them cut out their own fruit shapes. It is almost like making cookies but with less fat.
