Plan A Meal

You will receive oodles of compliments if you serve and attractive, nutricious, taste good, well rounded meal. With the following tips, you can accomplish this task with ease.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose a main dish, preferably a protein, that will provide each person with one serving.

  2. Step 2

Add a bread or grain product that will compliment the main dish. There are simply hundreds if not thousands of breads and rolls on the market. It should be very simple to find just the right thing.

  3. Step 3

Select one or two vegetables. Preferably one starch (potatoes, corn) and one green (green beans, asparagus, English peas) Make sure these will be a compliment to the main dish also.

  4. Step 4

Decide on a fruit or vegetable salad as a cool accompaniment to your meal. For instance if you are having poultry or pork, fruit salad will go very well with your meal. If you are serving beef a vegetable salad will do very nicely.

  5. Step 5

Top off with a luscious dessert. There are virtually no end to the possibilities here, pie, cake, custards and puddings, etc.

  6. Step 6

Choose a beverage to be served with the meal and another to be served with the dessert. I suggest a small glass of water as well as another cool beverage with the meal. And warm beverages with dessert.

  7. Step 7

Mealtime stresses and pressures will be much relieved by some effective, simple planning. Consider yourself an artist creating something beautiful. Remember your table setting is the background for your meal. Together with the food itself, it should create an atmosphere most desirable.
