Things You'll Need:
- Fitted twin sheet
- Flat twin sheet
- Blanket
- Pillow
- Pillow case
-
Step 1
Be sure to have the right size sheets for your hospital bed, normally twin size will do. Have all the supplies listed prior to starting your bed making project to avoid frustration. Make sure all linens and pillows are clean and dry prior to use. Launder with a mild detergent to prevent rash allergies. Now, you can get busy on this task.
-
Step 2
Set aside the linens, and place the pillowcase neatly onto the pillow, be sure that the tag in at the bottom of the pillowcase inside it so that it will not irritate. Then you can focus on the bed itself by placing the fitted sheet onto the mattress. Be sure each corner is securely in place so that the fitted sheet stays where it should. The flat sheet is placed on top of the fitted sheet so as to have at least one foot over the end of the mattress and the sides should be equal and centered on the bed. The top of the flat sheet should be even with the top of the mattress for best results.

Step 3
True hospital bed (www.flickr.com)At one bottom corner start by pulling the end of the side of the flat sheet to be equal with the mattress. There will be a portion of the sheet remaining and this needs to be tucked under the mattress first followed by the part that you had folded to give it a squared off finish. Follow the same steps for the blanket, and fold back the top of the flat sheet as well as the top of the blanket and place the pillow in the center. You may pull the portion over the pillow if that is the look you prefer. And now you have finished this chore, time to move onto your next one.
