How to Remove Bathroom Mold

Bathroom molds range from simple to remove to a little more complex. Surface molds can be removed with simple cleaning methods.   1. Mold on tile or caulk

      Clean with soap, hot water and baking soda to remove most of the mold.

      Spray with a solution of 1 part bleach and 2 parts water.

      Allow it to soak until the solution dry.

      Spray the wall with bleach solution again and use a scrub brush to scrub the moldy area.

      Rinse with hot water.

      If the mold is not gone, repeat the process and increase the ratio of bleach to 1 part bleach and 1 part water. If this does not remove the mold, the grout or caulk may need to be replaced. If the grout is replaced, use a mold-inhibiting sealant to prevent future mold growth in the grout.
