Things You'll Need:
- Rubber curlers
- 20 minutes to curl
- Several hours to set
- Mirror
-
Step 1
Select variety (WWW.wwbeautystore.com)Start by having the rubber curlers ready, and have the sizes you want in front of you. It is best to have your hair damp and sectioned into several pieces prior to starting the rolling of your hair. Clamp the sections away from the area of hair that you will be working on to avoid tangling and straggles of hair.
-
Step 2
Set in pattern (WWW.bp3.blogger.com)Take a small amount of strands of your dampened hair and place in into the slit of the selected rubber roller, and slide the roller to the tip of your hair. Some people prefer to use a perm paper to avoid hair pulling when removing the rollers. Then roll in the direction that you want, roll up towards the crown of your head for a wave effect or sideways roll up for a spiral effect for example.
-
Step 3
Continue to place small amounts on each selected roller, you may use various sizes around your head but it is best to use the same size on your left and right temple areas for an even and curly look. Leave the rollers in your hair after carefully twisting only the end of the curler together being sure not to catch your hair into the twist. Let your hair dry naturally to prevent uncurled areas, but if you're in a super hurry you may use a blow dryer on low to help the drying along. Once dry, untwist the rubber curler end to unlock it, then slowly unroll to avoid pulling and tangles. Take all the roller down and use a soft, round bristled brush or your favorite brush to lightly fluff the curls. Now your set to paint the town in your sexy curly hair!
