How to use vintage hair curlers to get bouncy waves

Things You'll Need:

• Vintage plastic hair curlers, 4-5" bobby pins and hair gel or setting lotion

1. Apply setting lotion or gel to slightly wet hair and comb through.

2. Comb small section of hair the width of the hair curler you're using, place the curler at the base of the scalp and carefully wind the hair around the curler. Secure with the long bobby pin.

3. Continue using various sizes of curlers, depending on amount of curl you want. Smaller curlers give tighter curls and larger curlers make more of a wavy style. Best drying results from hair dryer if your hair is long. Can air dry. When hair is completely dry, gently remove pins and curlers. Finger comb or brush to desired style.

Tips & Warnings

• If you cannot find large curlers, you may use small, empty, clean juice cans which will give a lift to very long hair.
