How to Make a Winter Themed Center Piece for Special Occasions

Finding centerpieces that are winter themed and not holiday themed can be difficult, as many retailers focus on the holidays as opposed to the seasons. Thankfully, there are options when it comes to creating your own wintertime centerpiece that doesn't come off as religious or seem to be Christmas oriented. Create this sparkly, snowy centerpiece for your next winter get together, whether it's a wedding, dinner or birthday party.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a bag of cotton and begin to stretch the cotton out so that it looks almost like a small blanket. Place about three layers of these blankets in the bottom of a clear vase to create the effect of snow.

    • 2

Add blue sparkles to the cotton. The blue sparkles create an effect similar to ice.

    • 3

Throw in 2 to 4 Styrofoam balls to create the effect of little snowballs. If desired, use these Styrofoam balls to create little snowmen.

    • 4

Tie blue ribbon into a bow around the neck of the vase.

    • 5

Place the piece on the center of your table.
