Being able to customize the fonts in your browser is a very helpful feature of Mozilla Firefox. For those who do not see very well, text can be greatly enlarged, and the font itself can be changed to any number of different choices.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

From the top menu in Mozilla Firefox, go to "Tools > Options."

  2. Step 2

Choose the "Content" tab from the list of icons at the top of the "Options" box. From this tab, you can turn the pop-up blocker on or off, change how images load, enable or disable Java systems, change the default language, and change the default fonts Mozilla uses.

  3. Step 3

Click the arrow in the "Default Font" option and select from the drop-down bracket the font you wish to be displayed. Then choose the size of the font in the same way, from the box at the right.

  4. Step 4

Click "OK." Mozilla will load your preferred fonts and sizes into web pages.

Tips & Warnings
  • From the "Advanced" tab in the fonts section, you can choose which fonts display on certain types of pages, such as sites that use proportional fonts or Monospace styles.
