Instructions
  1. Step 1

I am privileged to share my Au' gratin Potato recipe with you. You will need 5-6 Idaho Baking Potatoes, 16 Ounces of Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded), Fresh Parsley, 1/2 Stick of Butter, 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 1 Teaspoon Salt, 2 Cups of Heavy Cream, 1/2 Cup of Chardonnay Wine. Paprika for a Garnish.

  2. Step 2

Slice Potatoes into med size pieces, you can leave the skin on or peel the potatoes. Place sliced Potatoes in a Med Size casserole Dish. Add about 8 ounces of Cheddar Cheese, add Heavy Cream, Butter, Garlic Powder, Salt, Pepper and add about 1 cup of Parsley, mix together well, place Casserole Dish in a Pre-Heated 400 degree oven. Total Baking time is 60 minutes.

  3. Step 3

After 40 minutes remove Potatoes from oven (it should be bubbling), Add Chardonnay Wine mix well, then add the remainder of Cheddar Cheese (8 oz), do not mix cheese, leave on top of Potatoes, Sprinkle Paprika on top of final layer of Cheese. Bake an additional 15 minutes, remove from oven, let stand for about 10 minutes before serving.
