Do Homecoming Hairstyles

You are planning on a night out dancing away at the homecoming dance. But, you aren't sure how to wear your hair. Read on to decide which look best fits your style or inspires you to try something different.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • rollers (heated or not)
  • serum
  • hair pins
  • rhinestone and other festive hair pieces to pick from
  • ponytail holders
  1. Step 1

Try soft, loose, waves. These can either be done with medium to large heated rollers, or with sponge or rags the night before. Either way, You want your hair combed before putting in the curlers.

Gently take the curlers out, separate the curls a bit and put a little shine serum in.

  2. Step 2

After step one, a rhinestone barrette could be put on one side. You can take sectioned pieces, twist them up and pin them in place. Let the ends go free and fan a bit for a feminine, slightly messy look. Put all but a few face-framing tendrils of your bangs area in to the twists.

  3. Step 3

You can also attach colorful rhinestone beads to your twists for an added touch and match your dress or just accentuate it.

  4. Step 4

Take both sides of the hairline parts and twist it all the ways to just past your ears. Pin them in place. Put the back section into a pontyail. Take a section of the ponytail and pin it to just around the ponytail. Take another section and do the same thing. You should not be able to see the ponytail at all by the tine you are done. Decorate with rhinestone to your taste.
