How to Make A Basic PowerPoint using Microsoft Powerpoint 2007

This Article will tell you how to easily make a powerpoint presentation using the information you have gathered on the subject you desire to do the powerpoint and Microsoft Poweroint 2007.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Powerpoint 2007
  • Your Info and pictures if you are going to have them.
  • Some spair time
  • Patience
  1. Step 1

    Open the powerpoint program a blank slide should be open. Click the title square and add your title then the subtitle square and add your subtitle. (To change your font, font color, and font size go to the font box. It is the third box at the top and change to your liking.)

  2. Step 2

    To add a picture go to the tab at the top that says insert and choose witch tab fits what you want find the picture or clip art or whatever you want then click open or okay to add it to the slide. (Once your done hit the home tab to the left of the insert tab.) Once you have your first page done add a second slide by clicking the new slide button under the home tab. Choose which type of slide layout you want add your information to that slide your picture or a chart if you wish. How to add a chart go to the insert tab at the top and click it. Then click the chart button at the very end of the list choose which type of chart you want and add your chart information. Add a title to the top left and any other information.

  3. Step 3

    Keep adding slides and information to them untill you complete your slideshow. (When your done make sure you save after you make every slide so that if anything happens you dont loose everything!) How to view your slide show go to the slideshow tab and click the first button that says from beginning and click it. It will start your show. Move the mouse a bit and at the bottom left hand portion of your screen it will have an arrow at the end of all the symbols that is pointing right. Click that to go to the next slide and so forth. To exit your slide show click the button next to the arrow pointing to the right. It will be on the left side and scroll down to the exit slide show button and click it. Don't worry it wont exit the whole program just the slide show playing that your in. Do any neccesary adjustments you see fit and save all your work! Good Luck to you...

Tips & Warnings
  • Try changing up the layout of each slide.
  • Try new picture's or clip art for each slide.
  • Remember to save your work just incase something goes wrong!
  • This is specially for Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 and dose not apply for any other powerpoint program!
