A Apple Sauce Cake to Remember.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Ingredients:
    21/2 Cups Flower
    2 Cups Sugar
    1-1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
    1-1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
    1/4 Salt
    3/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
    ½ Teaspoon Cloves
    ½ Teaspoon Allspice
    2 Cup Apple Sauce.
    ½ Cup Butter
    ½ Cup Shortening
    2 Eggs
    1 Cup Raisins
    ½ Cup Chopped Walnuts

  2. Step 2

    Heat Oven 350.
    Grease and Flower Bunt Pan
    Each Oven is different allow Extra time for Electric Oven.
    Less if Gas Oven.

  3. Step 3

    Put Ingredients in Large Bowl
    Blend ½ Minutes on Medium Speed
    3 Minutes on High Speed.
    Pour in Pan.
    Bake 1 Hour.
    ½ done add Pecans and Cherries on Top.
    Test with a knife should come out clean.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do Not over Cook.
  • Cake will pull away from out side when done.
  • A little Apple Sauce on knife is ok.
  • Take knife around center tube.
  • Let Cake Cool Completely before removing from Pan.
  • Flip Cake on to Plate then flip on to another Plate.

  • This Cake is so good all Family and Friends will want one Ever Year.
