Gift cards are easy to give and fun to receive, but another use for them is often overlooked. To save even more money during the year, during the holidays and for everyday shopping, you should buy a discounted gift card. Here's how....

Step 1

To buy a discounted gift card, go to giftcardsagain.com. (link below) This company is part of the Better Business Bureau and offers you substantial discounts on many, many store and restaurant gift cards.

Cards are delivered to your door, NO SHIPPING charges and no taxes, of course. Gift cards are considered a service and taxes are not charged until a purchase is made with the card.
Step 2

At the home page, click on NEW HERE? Create an account & log in. You can now either use the convenient search box to the left of the page and enter the name of any store cards you're interested in OR click on BUY CARDS at the top of the page.

BUY CARDS will take you to an alphabetized listing of stores. After the store's name, you will see the number of gift cards available. Check the box by any store.
Step 3

If you picked Best Buy, for example, you'll see the discount there is only 5% off the face value. However, even at 5% savings, add to that amount additional savings on sale items. It all adds up.

If you checked Borders Bookstore, or Claires, you will see their gift cards are 15% off the face value, a terrific savings. If you're purchasing pet supplies, check the box by PetSmart - the discount there is 11%.
Step 4

Check the website often as new cards are coming in all the time. If you see one you want, better get it before it's sold out.
